expenditure and commitment totals against funds
available for any nominated account at any level
in the structure. Because of the multi-tiered
approach it is possible to provide this
information in a particularly flexible
manner.
FINEST 3-2 Practical Reports FINEST offers very
practical, easy to use report writing facilities.
Users do not require programming knowledge or the
ability to use a query language to use the
facilities. Easy to complete tables are filled out
to produce the desired results. The format of the
report is completely at the discretion of the
person creating the
report.
FINEST 3-3 Purchasing FINEST
provides full processing of purchase requests and
orders. It produces documentation automatically
through the system and permits the recording of
goods received information and reports on
purchases.
Commitment is updated
automatically at the time of funding a
request.

-4 Travel FINEST's Travel Module
allows a user to record the full itinerary , fare
quoted, accommodation details and contact number
when creating a Movement Request. A Movement
Requisition number is generated (either by the
system or from the number input by the user) when
the Request is approved. Upon approval, commitment
is shown in the Ledger after the funds control
check.
